The South Stokes Sauras football team (Walnut Cove, NC), was ripped 46-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the host East Wilkes Cardinals (Ronda, NC)

The Cardinals (7-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Starmount (Boonville, NC). The Rams come into the non-league challenge with a 7-1 record. In their last challenge, Starmount trounced Alleghany (Sparta, NC), 14-8, in a non-league challenge.

The Sauras now sport a 1-7 record. They take the field next when they host Elkin for a non-league challenge on Thursday, October 27. South Stokes will meet a Buckin' Elks team coming off a 29-22 non-league win over Alleghany (Sparta, NC). The Buckin' Elks record now stands at 4-4.
