Georgia High School Softball - Franklin County bounces Cedar Grove

The Franklin County Lions routed the visiting Cedar Grove Saints softball squad by a count of 24-0 in Thursday's non-league battle.

The Lions (19-9) will now prepare for their battle against Wesleyan (Norcross, GA). The Wolves go into the non-league battle with a 25-2 record. In their last battle, Wesleyan topped Pickens (Jasper, GA), 9-1, in a non-league battle.

The Saints now sport a 4-6 record. They play next when they travel to LaFayette for a non-league battle on Thursday, October 20. Cedar Grove will meet a Ramblers squad coming off a 4-0 league loss to Bremen (Bremen, GA). The Ramblers record now stands at 20-5.
