In Thursday's league contest, the New Milford Green Wave (New Milford, CT) volleyball squad were winner over the host Bunnell Bulldogs (Stratford, CT), by a margin of 3-0.

Next up, the Green Wave face the Kolbe-Cathedral Cougars (Bridgeport, CT) in a Southwest-Colonial contest, on Monday, October 24. New Milford will attempt to better on its 9-10 season record. The Cougars go into the contest with a 3-16 record after their 3-0 league loss to New Fairfield (New Fairfield, CT).

With the loss, Bunnell moves to 4-13 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Pomperaug (Southbury, CT) to face the Panthers in a Southwest-Colonial contest on Saturday, October 22. The Panthers go into the contest with a record of 10-8. Pomperaug won 3-0 in their recent league contest against Stratford (Stratford, CT)
