The Homewood-Flossmoor Vikings prevailed the visiting Thornton Fractional North Meteors volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Vikings now have a 15-16 record. They put it on the line next when they host Shepard for a non-league test on Tuesday, October 25. Homewood-Flossmoor will confront a Astros team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Stagg (Palos Hills, IL). The Astros record now stands at 18-16.
The Meteors (4-16) will now prepare for their test against Hillcrest (Country Club Hills, IL). The Hawks enter the South Suburban test with a 1-19 record. In their last test, Hillcrest dropped by Thornwood (South Holland, IL), 2-0, in a non-league test.
