Maryland High School Volleyball - Long Reach overwhelmed by Howard

In Thursday's league battle, the host Howard Lions volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Long Reach Lightning.

The Lions (7-6) will now prepare for their battle against Oakland Mills (Columbia, MD). The Scorpions come into the Howard County battle with a 1-8 record. In their last battle, Oakland Mills lost by Atholton (Columbia, MD), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Lightning encounter the Wilde Lake Wildecats (Columbia, MD) in a Howard County battle, on Tuesday, October 25. Long Reach will attempt to advance on its 5-7 season record. The Wildecats come into the battle with a 4-9 record after their 3-0 league loss to Glenelg (Glenelg, MD).
