In Thursday's league battle, the visiting James River Midlothian Rapids volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the L.C. Bird Skyhawks.
The Rapids (8-4) will now prepare for their battle against Godwin (Richmond, VA). The Eagles come into the non-league battle with a 13-6 record. In their last battle, Godwin achieved victory over Mechanicsville (Mechanicsville, VA), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Skyhawks clash with the Powhatan Indians (Powhatan, VA) in a Dominion battle, on Tuesday, October 25. L.C. Bird will attempt to advance on its 6-12 season record.
