    In Friday's league match, the host Stamford Bulldogs football squad scored a big 41-7 victory over the Anson Tigers.

    In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Hawley Bearcats (Hawley, TX) in a 2A-1 Region I District 4 match, on Friday, October 27. Stamford will attempt to move on its 7-0 season record. The Bearcats enter the match with a 6-2 record after their 51-7 league win over Olney (Olney, TX).

    The Tigers (5-4) will now prepare for their match against Cisco (Cisco, TX). The Loboes enter the 2A-1 Region I District 4 match with a 3-5 record. In their last match, Cisco was crushed by Stamford (Stamford, TX), 28-13, in a league match.
