California High School Football - Burroughs crushed by Apple Valley

In Friday's league game, the Apple Valley Sun Devils (Apple Valley, CA) football team smashed the host Burroughs Burros (Ridgecrest, CA), by a score of 56-0.

The Sun Devils (4-4) will now prepare for their game against Serrano (Phelan, CA). The Diamondbacks come into the Mojave River game with a 4-5 record. In their last game, Serrano was ripped by Hesperia (Hesperia, CA), 28-7, in a league game.

The Burros now sport a 0-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Oak Hills for a Mojave River challenge on Thursday, October 26. Burroughs will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 35-24 league win over Sultana (Hesperia, CA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-1.
