The Murphy Panthers football squad scored 34 points and restricted the host Baldwin County Tigers to 20 in the Panthers league victory on Friday.

The Panthers now possess a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Spanish Fort for a 6A Region 1 battle on Friday, October 27. Murphy will play a Toros squad coming off a 45-0 league win over Robertsdale (Robertsdale, AL). The Toros record now stands at 7-2.

Coming up next, the Tigers play the St. Paul's Episcopal Saints (Mobile, AL) in a 6A Region 1 battle, on Friday, October 27. Baldwin County will attempt to advance on its 1-7 season record. The Saints enter the battle with a 6-2 record after their 21-0 league win over Blount (Eight Mile, AL).
