The De Soto Wildcats (De Soto, KS) football defeated the visiting Basehor-Linwood Bobcats (Basehor, KS), 48-21 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Wildcats face the Turner Golden Bears (Kansas City, KS) in a United Kansas bout, on Friday, October 27. De Soto will attempt to move on its 7-1 season record. The Golden Bears enter the bout with a 0-8 record after their 86-6 non-league loss to Lansing (Lansing, KS).

The Bobcats (5-3) will now prepare for their bout against Paola (Paola, KS). The Panthers enter the non-league bout with a 4-4 record. In their last bout, Paola was toppled by Eudora (Eudora, KS), 28-21, in a non-league bout.
