Texas High School Football - Ferris succumbs to Benbrook

October 20, 2023: Benbrook, TX 76126

The Benbrook Bobcats thwarted the visiting Ferris Yellowjackets football team by a count of 45-27 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, Benbrook upgrades its record to 6-2 on the season. The Bobcats travel to Glen Rose (Glen Rose, TX) to encounter the Tigers in a 4A-2 Region I District 4 outing on Friday, October 27. The Tigers go into the outing with a record of 4-4. Glen Rose won 39-8 in their recent league outing against Hillsboro (Hillsboro, TX)

With the loss, Ferris moves to 1-7 on the season. The Yellowjackets travel to Venus (Venus, TX) to encounter the Bulldogs in a 4A-2 Region I District 4 outing on Friday, October 27. The Bulldogs go into the outing with a record of 3-5. Venus lost 71-0 in their recent league outing against Godley (Godley, TX)
