Pennsylvania High School Football - California overwhelms Bethlehem Center

October 20, 2023: Coal Center, PA 15423

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the California Trojans (Coal Center, PA) and the visiting Bethlehem Center Bulldogs (Fredericktown, PA), observed California's football squad bounce Bethlehem Center by a count of 62-6.

The Trojans now own a 8-1 record. They play next when they travel to Bentworth for a WPIAL A Tri-County South contest on Friday, October 27. California will encounter a Bearcats squad coming off a 20-12 league win over Carmichaels (Carmichaels, PA). The Bearcats record now stands at 3-6.

Coming up next, the Bulldogs encounter the Monessen Greyhounds (Monessen, PA) in a WPIAL A Tri-County South contest, on Friday, October 27. Bethlehem Center will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Greyhounds go into the contest with a 3-6 record after their 36-20 league win over Mapletown (Greensboro, PA).
