Kentucky High School Football - Lawrence County drops to Boyd County

In Friday's non-league game, the Boyd County Lions (Ashland, KY) football team knocked off the host Lawrence County Bulldogs (Louisa, KY), by a score of 22-14.
The Lions (5-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Pikeville (Pikeville, KY). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 6-2 record. In their last challenge, Pikeville achieved victory over Hazard (Hazard, KY), 43-7, in a league challenge.
The Bulldogs now sport a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they host Mason County for a non-league challenge on Friday, October 27. Lawrence County will meet a Royals team coming off a 50-6 league win over Grant County (Dry Ridge, KY). The Royals record now stands at 6-2.
