Texas High School Football - Cypress Woods felled by Bridgeland

The Cypress Woods Wildcats football team (Cypress, TX), was knocked off 31-14 in Friday's league challenge with the host Bridgeland Bears (Cypress, TX)

The Bears (7-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Cypress Lakes (Katy, TX). The Spartans come into the 6A Region II District 16 challenge with a 3-5 record. In their last challenge, Cypress Lakes was knocked off by Cypress Ranch (Houston, TX), 56-14, in a league challenge.

The Wildcats now sport a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cypress Springs for a 6A Region II District 16 challenge on Thursday, October 26. Cypress Woods will meet a Panthers team coming off a 32-28 league loss to Cypress Falls (Houston, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 7-1.
