Calhoun Academy Cougars (Calhoun City, MS) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team rout the host Kemper Academy Rams (DeKalb, MS), 54-14 in a league test.

With the triumph, Calhoun Academy improves its record to 8-1 on the campaign.

With the loss, Kemper Academy drops to 3-7 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Franklin Academy (Winnsboro, LA) to confront the Cougars in a non-league test on Friday, October 27. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 5-5. Franklin Academy lost 42-0 in their recent non-league test against Christian Collegiate Academy (Gulfport, MS)
