The Dalton Catamounts football squad scored 28 points and limited the visiting Calhoun Yellow Jackets to 21 in the Catamounts league win on Friday.

The Catamounts now possess a 7-2 record. They play next when they travel to Cartersville for a AAAAA Region 7 battle on Friday, October 27. Dalton will play a Hurricanes squad coming off a 48-0 league win over Woodland (Cartersville, GA). The Hurricanes record now stands at 9-0.

Coming up next, the Yellow Jackets play the Cass Colonels (White, GA) in a AAAAA Region 7 battle, on Friday, October 27. Calhoun will attempt to advance on its 6-3 season record. The Colonels go into the battle with a 4-5 record after their 50-20 league loss to Hiram (Hiram, GA).
