In Friday's non-league game, the Oswego Indians (Oswego, KS) football team smashed the host Cedar Vale/Dexter Spartans (Cedar Vale, KS), by a final score of 56-8.

The Indians (4-4) will now prepare for their game against Chase County (Cottonwood Falls, KS). The Bulldogs come into the non-league game with a 5-3 record. In their last game, Chase County overwhelmed Madison/Hamilton (Madison, KS), 56-8, in a non-league game.

The Spartans now hold a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lyndon for a non-league game on Friday, October 27. Cedar Vale/Dexter will battle a Tigers team coming off a 48-0 non-league win over Burlingame (Burlingame, KS). The Tigers record now stands at 8-0.
