The Middlebury Tigers football team (Middlebury, VT), was tipped 21-14 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Champlain Valley Union Redhawks (Hinesburg, VT)
The Redhawks (7-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Essex (Essex Junction, VT). The Hornets come into the League 1 challenge with a 4-4 record. In their last challenge, Essex nipped Bellows Free Academy (St. Albans, VT), 21-13, in a league challenge.
The Tigers now sport a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Johnsbury Academy for a non-league challenge on Friday, October 27. Middlebury will meet a Hilltoppers team coming off a 46-16 non-league win over Lyndon Institute (Lyndon Center, VT). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 6-2.
