In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Copiah Academy Colonels football squad scored a good 35-7 victory over the Wayne Academy Jaguars.
The Jaguars (5-5) will now prepare for their match against Lee Academy (Clarksdale, MS). The Colts enter the non-league match with a 6-4 record. In their last match, Lee Academy thwarted Oak Hill Academy (West Point, MS), 60-14, in a league match.
