The Cranston East Thunderbolts (Cranston, RI) football defeated the visiting Shea Raiders (Pawtucket, RI), 22-14 in Friday's league bout.
In their next game, the Thunderbolts face the Portsmouth Patriots (Portsmouth, RI) in a Division II-B bout, on Saturday, October 28. Cranston East will attempt to advance on its 1-6 season record. The Patriots enter the bout with a 2-5 record after their 40-6 league loss to Barrington (Barrington, RI).
The Raiders (0-7) will now prepare for their bout against La Salle Academy (Providence, RI). The Rams enter the Division I bout with a 3-5 record. In their last bout, La Salle Academy defeated South Kingstown (Wakefield, RI), 14-0, in a non-league bout.
