The Honesdale Hornets football team (Honesdale, PA), was beaten 47-21 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Dunmore Bucks (Dunmore, PA)

The Bucks (8-2) will now prepare for their challenge against West Scranton (Scranton, PA). The Invaders come into the Lackawanna 2 challenge with a 2-7 record. In their last challenge, West Scranton was beaten by Mid Valley (Throop, PA), 22-7, in a league challenge.

The Hornets now sport a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Western Wayne for a Lackawanna 2 challenge on Friday, October 27. Honesdale will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 41-14 league win over Lakeland (Jermyn, PA). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-3.
