Oklahoma High School Football - Elk City sneaks past Weatherford

October 20, 2023: Elk City, OK 73644

The Elk City Elks football squad scored 21 points and restricted the visiting Weatherford Eagles to 14 in the Elks league victory on Friday.

The Elks now possess a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Woodward for a 4A District 1 battle on Friday, October 27. Elk City will face a Boomers squad coming off a 56-13 non-league win over Cashion (Cashion, OK). The Boomers record now stands at 1-7.

Coming up next, the Eagles face the Marshall Bears (Oklahoma City, OK) in a 4A District 1 battle, on Friday, October 27. Weatherford will attempt to advance on its 5-4 season record. The Bears enter the battle with a 1-7 record after their 49-8 league loss to Cache (Cache, OK).
