The William Penn Charter Quakers football team (Philadelphia, PA), was knocked off 31-7 in Friday's league challenge with the host Episcopal Academy Churchmen (Newtown Square, PA)

The Churchmen (3-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Germantown Academy (Fort Washington, PA). The Patriots come into the Inter-Academic challenge with a 5-2 record. In their last challenge, Germantown Academy was knocked off by Springside Chestnut Hill Academy (Philadelphia, PA), 28-0, in a league challenge.

The Quakers now sport a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they host Malvern Prep for a Inter-Academic challenge on Saturday, October 28. William Penn Charter will meet a Friars team coming off a 24-6 league win over Haverford School (Haverford, PA). The Friars record now stands at 6-1.
