Virginia High School Football - Sussex Central victorious over Franklin

In Friday's league match, the host Sussex Central Tigers football squad scored a good 36-8 victory over the Franklin Broncos.

In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Brunswick Bulldogs (Lawrenceville, VA) in a Tri-Rivers game, on Friday, October 27. Sussex Central will attempt to improve on its 7-1 season record. The Bulldogs come into the game with a 7-1 record after their 30-7 non-league win over John Marshall (Richmond, VA).

The Broncos now hold a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they host Greensville County for a Tri-Rivers game on Friday, October 27. Franklin will battle a Eagles team coming off a 42-7 league win over Windsor (Windsor, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 4-3.
