The Garrard County Golden Lions football team (Lancaster, KY), was beaten 48-20 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Mercer County Titans (Harrodsburg, KY)
The Titans (8-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Lincoln County (Stanford, KY). The Patriots come into the non-league challenge with a 4-5 record. In their last challenge, Lincoln County was beaten by Taylor County (Campbellsville, KY), 37-21, in a league challenge.
The Golden Lions now sport a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Harrison County for a non-league challenge on Friday, October 27.
