The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Glide Wildcats (Glide, OR) and the visiting Rogue River Chieftains (Rogue River, OR), observed Glide's football squad thwart Rogue River by a tally of 37-18.
The Wildcats now possess a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to Illinois Valley for a 2A Special District 3 (9 Man) contest on Friday, October 27. Glide will play a Cougars squad coming off a 40-8 league loss to Gold Beach (Gold Beach, OR). The Cougars record now stands at 6-3.
Coming up next, the Chieftains play the Bandon/Pacific Tigers (Bandon, OR) in a 2A Special District 3 (9 Man) contest, on Friday, October 27. Rogue River will attempt to advance on its 1-7 season record. The Tigers go into the contest with a 5-3 record after their 64-8 league win over Reedsport (Reedsport, OR).
