The Sherman Tide football team (Seth, WV), was ripped 48-0 in Friday's league challenge with the host Greenbrier West Cavaliers (Charmco, WV)
The Cavaliers (8-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Midland Trail (Hico, WV). The Patriots come into the Coalfield A challenge with a 4-4 record. In their last challenge, Midland Trail was ripped by James Monroe (Lindside, WV), 49-0, in a league challenge.
The Tide now sport a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they host Meadow Bridge for a Coalfield A challenge on Friday, October 27. Sherman will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 14-12 league win over Montcalm (Montcalm, WV). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-4.
