New Jersey High School Football - Verona tipped by Hanover Park

The Verona Hillbillies football team (Verona, NJ), was tipped 14-7 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Hanover Park Hornets (East Hanover, NJ)

The Hornets (6-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Pompton Lakes (Pompton Lakes, NJ). The Cardinals come into the non-league challenge with a 4-4 record. In their last challenge, Pompton Lakes nipped Glen Rock (Glen Rock, NJ), 24-21, in a non-league challenge.

The Hillbillies now sport a 2-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Butler for a non-league challenge on Friday, October 27. Verona will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 42-14 non-league win over Waldwick/Midland Park (Waldwick, NJ). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-1.
