Pennsylvania High School Football - Plum beat Hempfield Area

October 20, 2023: Greensburg, PA 15601

The Plum Mustangs football squad scored 38 points and restricted the host Hempfield Area Spartans to 20 in the Mustangs league victory on Friday.

The Mustangs now possess a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Indiana for a non-league battle on Friday, October 27. Plum will play a Little Indians squad coming off a 42-6 league loss to North Catholic (Cranberry Township, PA). The Little Indians record now stands at 2-7.

Coming up next, the Spartans play the Norwin Knights (North Huntingdon, PA) in a WPIAL AAAAA Big East battle, on Friday, October 27. Hempfield Area will attempt to advance on its 1-8 season record. The Knights enter the battle with a 2-7 record after their 48-20 league loss to Gateway (Monroeville, PA).
