The MacArthur Cardinals football team (Irving, TX), was beaten 24-14 in Friday's league challenge with the host Highland Park Scots (Dallas, TX)
The Scots (7-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Richardson (Richardson, TX). The Eagles come into the 6A Region I District 7 challenge with a 4-4 record. In their last challenge, Richardson achieved victory over Irving (Irving, TX), 58-12, in a league challenge.
The Cardinals now sport a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they host Dallas Jesuit for a 6A Region I District 7 challenge on Thursday, October 26. MacArthur will meet a Rangers team coming off a 42-0 league win over Nimitz (Irving, TX). The Rangers record now stands at 5-3.
