Louisiana High School Football - Iowa defeats Lake Charles College Prep

October 20, 2023: Lake Charles, LA 70607

In Friday's league match, the visiting Iowa Yellowjackets football squad scored a good 36-22 victory over the Lake Charles College Prep Blazers.

In their next game, the Yellowjackets clash with the St. Louis Catholic Saints (Lake Charles, LA) in a 3A District 3 match, on Friday, October 27. Iowa will attempt to move on its 6-2 season record. The Saints enter the match with a 7-1 record after their 21-14 non-league win over South Lafourche (Galliano, LA).

The Blazers (3-5) will now prepare for their match against Jennings (Jennings, LA). The Bulldogs enter the 3A District 3 match with a 6-2 record. In their last match, Jennings ran past Westlake (Westlake, LA), 49-8, in a league match.
