Pennsylvania High School Football - Jeannette smashes Springdale

The Jeannette Jayhawks (Jeannette, PA) football routed the visiting Springdale Dynamos (Springdale, PA), 49-12 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Jayhawks face the Clairton Bears (Clairton, PA) in a WPIAL A Eastern bout, on Friday, October 27. Jeannette will attempt to advance on its 7-2 season record. The Bears enter the bout with a 7-2 record after their 50-6 league win over Frazier (Perryopolis, PA).

The Dynamos (1-8) will now prepare for their bout against Riverview (Oakmont, PA). The Raiders enter the WPIAL A Eastern bout with a 4-5 record. In their last bout, Riverview was overwhelmed by Greensburg Central Catholic (Greensburg, PA), 21-14, in a league bout.
