In Friday's non-league match, the host Othello Huskies football squad scored a good 42-24 victory over the Kelso Hilanders.
In their next game, the Huskies clash with the East Valley Red Devils (Yakima, WA) in a 2A Central Washington match, on Friday, October 27. Othello will attempt to move on its 6-2 season record. The Red Devils enter the match with a 5-3 record after their 33-17 league loss to Ellensburg (Ellensburg, WA).
The Hilanders (2-6) will now prepare for their match against Evergreen (Vancouver, WA). The Plainsmen enter the 3A Greater St. Helens match with a 5-3 record. In their last match, Evergreen ran past Prairie (Vancouver, WA), 40-19, in a league match.
