The Oneida Indians toppled the visiting King's Academy Lions football squad by a margin of 29-15 in Friday's non-league match.

In their next game, the Indians clash with the Bledsoe County Warriors (Pikeville, TN) in a 2A Region 2 outing, on Friday, October 27. Oneida will attempt to upgrade on its 7-2 season record. The Warriors go into the outing with a 7-2 record after their 21-14 non-league win over Gordonsville (Gordonsville, TN).

With the loss, King's Academy moves to 0-9 on the season. The Lions travel to Friendship Christian (Lebanon, TN) to meet the Commanders in a Division II-A East challenge on Friday, October 27. The Commanders come into the challenge with a record of 7-2. Friendship Christian won 41-0 in their recent league challenge against Ezell-Harding Christian (Antioch, TN)
