In Friday's league match, the visiting Rison Wildcats football squad scored a big 35-0 victory over the Lakeside Beavers.
In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the Barton Bears (Lexa, AR) in a 3A Region 6 match, on Friday, October 27. Rison will attempt to move on its 1-7 season record. The Bears enter the match with a 5-3 record after their 42-0 league win over Drew Central (Monticello, AR).
The Beavers (2-5) will now prepare for their match against Harmony Grove (Camden, AR). The Hornets enter the 3A Region 6 match with a 6-2 record. In their last match, Harmony Grove routed Fordyce (Fordyce, AR), 29-28, in a league match.
