The Lamar Consolidated Mustangs football team (Rosenberg, TX), was ripped 70-19 in Friday's league challenge with the host Randle Lions (Richmond, TX)

The Lions (7-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Rudder (Bryan, TX). The Rangers come into the 5A-2 Region III District 10 challenge with a 3-5 record. In their last challenge, Rudder was ripped by Brenham (Brenham, TX), 46-25, in a league challenge.

The Mustangs now sport a 2-7 record. They take the field next when they host Montgomery for a 5A-2 Region III District 10 challenge on Thursday, October 26. Lamar Consolidated will meet a Bears team coming off a 56-28 league loss to Randle (Richmond, TX). The Bears record now stands at 0-8.
