The Picayune Maroon Tide football squad scored 42 points and restricted the host Long Beach Bearcats to 7 in the Maroon Tide league victory on Friday.

The Maroon Tide now possess a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to George County for a 6A Region 4 battle on Friday, October 27. Picayune will play a Rebels squad coming off a 54-19 league win over West Harrison (Gulfport, MS). The Rebels record now stands at 7-2.

Coming up next, the Bearcats play the Hancock Hawks (Kiln, MS) in a 6A Region 4 battle, on Friday, October 27. Long Beach will attempt to advance on its 2-7 season record. The Hawks enter the battle with a 7-2 record after their 32-21 league loss to Pascagoula (Pascagoula, MS).
