The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Meeker Bulldogs (Meeker, OK) and the visiting Luther Lions (Luther, OK), observed Meeker's football squad defeat Luther by a count of 50-28.

The Bulldogs now own a 4-4 record. They play next when they travel to Crossings Christian for a 2A District 2 contest on Friday, October 27. Meeker will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 39-26 league win over Bethel (Shawnee, OK). The Knights record now stands at 6-2.

Coming up next, the Lions encounter the Bethel Wildcats (Shawnee, OK) in a 2A District 2 contest, on Friday, October 27. Luther will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record.
