The Wink Wildcats (Wink, TX) football defeated the host McCamey Badgers (McCamey, TX), 52-21 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Wildcats face the Sterling City Eagles (Sterling City, TX) in a 2A-2 Region II District 5 bout, on Friday, October 27. Wink will attempt to advance on its 8-1 season record. The Eagles enter the bout with a 6-2 record after their 24-0 league loss to Eldorado (Eldorado, TX).

The Badgers (3-5) will now prepare for their bout against Water Valley (Water Valley, TX). The Wildcats enter the 2A-2 Region II District 5 bout with a 2-6 record. In their last bout, Water Valley defeated Iraan (Iraan, TX), 28-13, in a league bout.
