The Memphis East Mustangs (Memphis, TN) football defeated the visiting Wooddale Cardinals (Memphis, TN), 40-14 in Friday's league bout.
In their next game, the Mustangs face the Raleigh-Egypt Pharaohs (Memphis, TN) in a 3A Region 8 bout, on Thursday, October 26. Memphis East will attempt to move on its 4-5 season record. The Pharaohs enter the bout with a 3-6 record after their 28-6 league loss to Bolton (Arlington, TN).
The Cardinals (2-8) will now prepare for their bout against Sheffield (Memphis, TN). The Knights enter the 3A Region 8 bout with a 7-2 record. In their last bout, Sheffield defeated Lakeland Preparatory (Lakeland, TN), 58-13, in a league bout.
