Texas High School Football - Mt. Pleasant knocked off by Whitehouse

October 20, 2023: Mt. Pleasant, TX 75456

Whitehouse Wildcats (Whitehouse, TX) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Mt. Pleasant Tigers (Mt. Pleasant, TX), 42-14 in a league test.

With the triumph, Whitehouse improves its record to 7-1 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Texas (Texarkana, TX) to confront the Tigers in a 5A-2 Region II District 8 test on Friday, October 27. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 8-0. Texas won 51-14 in their recent league test against Nacogdoches (Nacogdoches, TX)

With the loss, Mt. Pleasant drops to 4-3 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Pine Tree (Longview, TX) to confront the Pirates in a 5A-2 Region II District 8 test on Friday, October 27. The Pirates come into the test with a record of 4-4. Pine Tree won 10-7 in their recent league test against Hallsville (Hallsville, TX)
