The North Lenoir Hawks topped the host South Lenoir Blue Devils football team by a final score of 20-12 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, North Lenoir improves its record to 2-7 on the season. The Hawks host Kinston (Kinston, NC) to confront the Vikings in a East Central 2A outing on Friday, October 27. The Vikings go into the outing with a record of 3-6. Kinston lost 62-18 in their recent league outing against Wallace-Rose Hill (Teachey, NC)

With the loss, South Lenoir moves to 1-9 on the season.
