New Mexico High School Football - Pojoaque Valley felled by Taos

The Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes football team (Pojoaque, NM), was knocked off 35-6 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Taos Tigers (Taos, NM)

The Tigers (3-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Moriarty (Moriarty, NM). The Pintos come into the 4A District 2 challenge with a 5-4 record. In their last challenge, Moriarty was knocked off by Espanola Valley (Espanola, NM), 50-0, in a league challenge.

The Elks/Elkettes now sport a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Espanola Valley for a 4A District 2 challenge on Friday, October 27. Pojoaque Valley will meet a Sundevils team coming off a 50-0 league win over Moriarty (Moriarty, NM). The Sundevils record now stands at 6-3.
