In Friday's league match, the host Sundown Roughnecks football squad scored a good 32-19 victory over the Post Antelopes.
In their next game, the Roughnecks clash with the New Deal Lions (New Deal, TX) in a 2A-1 Region I District 2 match, on Friday, October 27. Sundown will attempt to move on its 3-5 season record. The Lions enter the match with a 5-3 record after their 56-21 league win over Olton (Olton, TX).
The Antelopes (2-6) will now prepare for their match against Floydada (Floydada, TX). The Whirlwinds enter the 2A-1 Region I District 2 match with a 4-4 record. In their last match, Floydada dropped by Tahoka (Tahoka, TX), 36-34, in a league match.
