The Westwood Cardinals football squad scored 35 points and restricted the visiting Ridgefield Park Scarlets to 0 in the Cardinals league victory on Friday.

The Cardinals now possess a 8-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dumont for a Super - American Red battle on Friday, October 27. Westwood will face a Huskies squad coming off a 27-13 league loss to Mahwah (Mahwah, NJ). The Huskies record now stands at 4-4.

Coming up next, the Scarlets face the Morris Hills Knights (Rockaway, NJ) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, October 26. Ridgefield Park will attempt to advance on its 2-6 season record. The Knights enter the battle with a 0-9 record after their 21-7 league loss to West Morris Mendham (Mendham, NJ).
