The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Rio Rancho Rams (Rio Rancho, NM) and the host Volcano Vista Hawks (Albuquerque, NM), observed Rio Rancho's football squad edge Volcano Vista by a count of 24-17.

The Rams now own a 7-2 record. They play next when they host Cleveland for a 6A District 1 contest on Friday, October 27. Rio Rancho will encounter a Storm squad coming off a 61-7 league win over Cibola (Albuquerque, NM). The Storm record now stands at 6-3.
