The Somerset Bulldogs football squad scored 62 points and restricted the host San Antonio Memorial Minutemen to 7 in the Bulldogs league victory on Friday.

The Bulldogs now possess a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Boerne for a 4A-1 Region IV District 14 battle on Friday, October 27. Somerset will face a Greyhounds squad coming off a 63-0 league win over John F. Kennedy (San Antonio, TX). The Greyhounds record now stands at 7-1.

Coming up next, the Minutemen face the Uvalde Coyotes/Lobos (for girls) (Uvalde, TX) in a 4A-1 Region IV District 14 battle, on Friday, October 27. San Antonio Memorial will attempt to advance on its 1-7 season record. The Coyotes/Lobos (for girls) enter the battle with a 5-3 record after their 24-20 league win over Fredericksburg (Fredericksburg, TX).
