In Friday's league match, the visiting Wayne Pioneers football squad scored a big 49-7 victory over the Sissonville Indians.

In their next game, the Pioneers clash with the Logan Wildcats (Logan, WV) in a Cardinal match, on Friday, October 27. Wayne will attempt to move on its 4-4 season record. The Wildcats enter the match with a 1-7 record after their 35-14 league loss to Chapmanville Regional (Chapmanville, WV).

The Indians (0-8) will now prepare for their match against Nitro (Nitro, WV). The Wildcats enter the Cardinal match with a 5-3 record. In their last match, Nitro was crushed by Winfield (Winfield, WV), 41-13, in a league match.
