In Friday's league match, the visiting University School of Jackson Bruins football squad scored a good 35-7 victory over the St. Benedict at Auburndale Eagles.
In their next game, the Bruins clash with the Lausanne Collegiate Lynx (Memphis, TN) in a Division II-AA West match, on Friday, October 27. University School of Jackson will attempt to move on its 6-3 season record. The Lynx enter the match with a 7-1 record after their 27-21 league win over Northpoint Christian (Southaven, MS).
The Eagles (1-8) will now prepare for their match against St. George's (Collierville, TN). The Gryphons enter the Division II-AA West match with a 1-8 record. In their last match, St. George's dropped by Evangelical Christian (Cordova, TN), 22-14, in a league match.
