The Weaver Beavers football team (Hartford, CT), was ripped 51-12 in Friday's league challenge with the host Stonington Bears (Stonington, CT)
The Bears (6-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Windham (Willimantic, CT). The Whippets come into the non-league challenge with a 5-1 record. In their last challenge, Windham trounced Waterford (Waterford, CT), 27-7, in a league challenge.
The Beavers now sport a 0-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Montville for a Eastern Connecticut II challenge on Friday, October 27. Weaver will meet a Wolves team coming off a 61-0 non-league loss to Bacon Academy (Colchester, CT). The Wolves record now stands at 2-4.
